This classic Spangenhelm is made according to historical models and has its origins in the Northern Europe of the Early Middle Ages. It was formerly used by nomadic peoples of late antiquity. It is therefore also excellent for representing Nordic characters.
The helmet takes its name from the fact that it combines several clips and combines metal plates in them.

Material: steel sheet
Sizes: small (56-58) and large (59-62)
Colors: bright and burnished

The Spangenhelm is one of the most widespread versions of the head protection of late antiquity and Early Middle Ages. It was quite simple to manufacture and to produce in large quantities without much effort. This made him a top seller among a multitude of martial peoples.
The head brace, on which the skull parts are attached, is typical of the helmet. This brow was often adorned or reinforced. Brows or ornamentation can be seen from groundfinds. The conical shape of the helmet was then achieved by riveting helix plates. Frequently, a braid of chain braiding was placed in the rear of the helmet. An equally simple, ingenious solution to the head protection.
