This small ring fibula, also known as horseshoe or omega fibula, has a diameter of 5 cm. This fable was widely used in the Viking era as a component of the garment.

The ring fibula with rolled ends is forged from a 4 mm round bar by hand from iron and has a beautiful matte black surface.

With the slightly bent needle, fabrics can be handled particularly well.

Diameter of small horseshoe fibula: 5 cm.

The small Ringfibela / Omegafibela is well suited for closing a tunic or a coat and is ideal for the garments in the Larp and Viking reenactment.

The Ring fibula, also called Horseshoe fibula or Omega fibula, is far more than a thousand year old garment with practical utility. Especially in the Viking era, but also with the Germans and Romans, the Ringfibula was present and served to close dresses and cloaks. The needle of the ring fibula is then placed on the right shoulder through the fabric of the cape and fixed with the round part so that the fibula can not loosen.
