The tree of life is represented by a mystical and magical tree, which is well-known in many cultures, and which goes back to antiquity. The different peoples and religions call it different names, each of which has its own tree of life in its mythologies. All have a similar meaning as the source of life in the respective cultures. The symbols of the tree of life contain all aspects of the tree itself and what they mean. All these parts of the tree are represented symbolically: the roots dig deep, the trunk establishes the foundation, the branches stretch for food, the leaves gather strength, and the fruit gives of itself. The tree of life stands for all aspects of mankind and the universe. It includes the elements: fire, water, earth and air. All these forces together create the life-giving power of the tree of life.
