Replica of the cloverleaf-fibula of Stora Ryk according to an original find from the Viking era.

This replica of an exceptionally beautiful cloverleaf-fibula of the Viking Age is made according to the treasures of Stora Ryk in Sweden, which dates back to the beginning of the 10th century AD.

The original Stora Ryk cloverleaf-fibula of the Vikings Period is now in the Statens Historiska Museum in Stockholm.

The fibula made in filigree with elaborate granulation is a masterpiece of jewelery craftsmanship.

Our replica of the viking-time originals is executed in detail bronze casting instead of the then elaborate granulation technique. So we can offer this beautiful cloverleaf at a very attractive price. Also available silver plated.

On the backside of the Stora Ryk cloverleaf-fibula is a sturdy needle, which makes this viking jewelery also suitable for closing stronger fabrics, as well as an eyelet in which a chain can be attached, as in the Viking era.

In the time of the Vikings, the cloverleaf was worn in the middle of the breast of women clothing or used to close light cloaks and was widespread.
