This chain shirt is suitable for normal men with a medium chest. It is wide enough to carry a Gambeson under it. The sleeves cover about 2/3 of the arm. The length is approximately half the thigh. Each ring is riveted. The rings can only be opened with tools or with enormous force. We recommend this Chainshirt for wearers with a chest circumference of 90 cm to 125 cm. Thus the chain shirt can be worn on a Gambeson and uses its maximum dimension of 140 cm under the arms. The blank version is galvanized and therefore less sensitive to rust. The oiled version is non-galvanized and oiled, very vulnerable to rust.
